Founded in 1863,Politecnico di Milano is one of the most outstanding scientific-technological universities in Europe which trains engineers, architects and industrial designers.The Politecnico di Milano is organized into 12 departments, responsible for planning of the research strategies, and 6 schools, responsible for the organization of education. Among these, 3 schools cater for the different fields of engineering and 3 schools the fields of architecture and industrial design.Thanks to a strong internationalization policy, many programmes (2 three-year Bachelors of Science degree programmes, 10 Masters of Science degree programmes , 12 Specialization Master’s programmes and 24 Doctoral programmes,) are taught entirely in English and attract an ever-increasing number of talented foreign students.The University has always focused on the quality and innovation of its teaching and research developing a fruitful relationship with business and productive world by means of experimental research and technological transfer.
